GAME OVER. CHIEFS LOSE.

So the Barves can beat a AAA team.

the triple A team did pretty good
They were certainly competitive and in the game until the ninth. That's either really good news for the Nats, really bad news for the barves, or a little of both.

Even the 9th wasn't bad. Kimbrel hasn't had a lot of saves so is well-rested and all three made contact outs against him. Could be worse, I suppose, considering who it was up against.

Reads as if Detwiler, from the Nats, lost the game. Treinen and Barrett, from Syracuse seem to have done OK. Souza got a homer. Call it about even between Syracuse and Boston/Milwaukee/Cobb County.

Det didn't lose the game IMHO.    Moore had a couple of tough plays at first and the RF made a fluff throw to 2nd.   Plus, old farts like us know one run is never gonna beat the Barves.

Pretty much.  Even the run scoring hit on Det wasn't all that well hit, just took a bounce of TMo's glove and then some poor effort getting the ball back in.  Can't hit Heyward though in the prior AB, lefty on lefty.

haha, batting avg - balls in play, basically a semi-decent measure of the luck of a batted ball becoming a hit.

well glad souza homered. Taylor and Souza are pretty much the only ones with a future full time positions possibilites. Our bench I must admit sucks glad we have these 2 youngsters. I prefer having guys like Taylor, Souza and Moore then frandsen and etc. These guys will probably back with syracuse next year.

Zach Walters is hitting .157 btw with 31 so's in 84 at bats wow haha

I was glancing at this game while doing some work, I can't believe our AAA team almost beat the Barves.  They got shutout by Treinen lol

Dude Frandsen has been a god send this year of the bench guys I want him back. Hairston, Schierholtz and McClouth can hit the road next year. Rather have a bench of Espi, Lobaton, Frandsen, Souza and some FA outfielder.
