What a win. A key dent in Soriano's redemption.  :|

But yes Soriano should not pitch again in a Nationals uniform. Just can't.

Yes.  Nothing about it is cool, and he didn't mean it that way but that's why you don't toss it in as you're signing off.

Am I alone in seeing Stras grimace on the play at first.    Appeared it was his right foot.

Loved everyone awkwardly standing around for a few seconds to make sure Atlanta wasn't going to challenge.

Slo-mo replay showed Upton was out by a step. Maybe half-step, but foot was far from bag when the throw got to LaRoche. What a throw by Desmond. Clear: if the Nats play a 16 inning game and run out of pitchers, Desmond and Harper should be next choices to pitch. Maybe then Rendon.

I thought it was odd at the least.

There is no way that they put Soriano on the playoff Roster , they just can't do that.

I had the Atlanta broadcast, but it seems like I don't want to know what FP said.

"How cool would it be if they clinched on the anniversary of the Navy Yard shooting?"

I understand FP's sentiment but  ....  it's still a wincer.    I guess I don't understand the connection.
