They are seriously going to their pen in a 7 run game, with two outs in the 9th?

Bob played that one straight and said Collins wanted to keep it a 7 run game, it made me chuckle.

Mets post-game said that Collins had looked at video of Mets closer pretending to hook and reel in last Nats batter Friday. Collins took the guy aside and said, "You can celebrate, but that was stupid. Don't do it again. Don't do anything that insults the other team".

I was wondering if any of the clubhouse leaders had spoken to the reliever.

Collins seems to have said: "You're going to get one of our guys hurt. It's bush league stuff. Act like you're happy, OK. Don't act like you've never close a gain before".

Looks real bad when you are way out of the race.
Maybe Soriano will not untuck if anyone gives him a chance to close again.

Untucking is different. What made the Mets guy(Mejia? whatever his name)'s act bad was that he was going out of his way to show up a guy on the other team(Desi). You don't insult the other team, especially one that has beaten your ass repeatedly and ESPECIALLY not a guy like Ian Desmond who always seems to step his game up when the other team agitates him(like walking the bases loaded to get to him, etc.).

If anyone knows anyone who had a ticket to this game; let me know.  I have a friend who collects tickets from every game Bryce hits a Home Run.
