Apparently 24 is now considered being a kid. Good to know, I can be immature for another two years!

The Mets had practice swinging at debris and sharks in Sharknado 2

All three losses to the Mutts this year belong to Gio.

He's ass.

Mejia's celebration may have been over the top, but it was an accurate recap of the Desmond AB.

Where is all this Gio venom coming from?  He was more than adequate for what he is.  He gets very little run support and he needs the most on the staff.

Cabrera was much worse than Gio tonight.  And anyone who GIDPed.

I never got this. Not directed at you, but I can't believe a sport where guys take 90 mph fastballs on the regular has so many mental wusses in it. He was happy his team won against the division leader and they broke a huge losing streak at home against them.

If he was talking trash right into Nats players' faces incessantly, maybe I'd care and understand, but being happy you won and hamming it up? Just freak off and win tomorrow and problem's solved.

Doesn't bother me either.  What bothers me is the Nats were able to turn the other cheek last night after a win, but stewed over a celebration in a loss. THAT is childish.

If Span, Desmond, and Harper needed that little diddie from Mejia to get motivated, they probably shouldn't be playing for this team.

By any means necessary.   For me, it was bagpipes.

Braves lose to Rangers, magic number down one. Also, Dodgers are down 4-0 to the Giants right now so if you really want the top spot that's good news.

Ryu out after 1 inning, 20ish pitches.

It would be huge if they had to use Kershaw for a play-in game. Probably won't happen, but would be nice for us.

I think the Giants are going to win that division.
