Cabrera's arm is comparable to Espinosa but not the range. Can't complain too much I suppose, given the bat.

You mean with his own players? But yeah. I was just thinking today that it makes me sick that everything has to be a social or political or moral issue. I just want to watch freaking games!

Yes, his own QB.

Citi field is so homey!  :w:

Cabby!

That was an amazing throw by Cabrera.

BTW LaRoche looks stiff and slow at 1st, he didn't even stick a glove down on the hit that went by him.

I guess so, but I'm used to that being Espinosa's ball every time.

Rapistberger?

He was never charged.    I mean the whole episode.    Word around Pittsburgh was the Rooney family was about to let him go.   Apparently, they didn't have the balls.

I'm referring to the single that LaRoche let go right past him, seemingly within reach but he would have had to bend down to catch it.  Didn't want to bend, I guess.   :?

That brings me back to something I always felt guilty about.  After 9/11 13 years ago, obviously I was saddened, but I didn't know anyone that died personally.  They then canceled all football games that week, and that was what made me the most mad, granted I was in high school at the time, but yea, that was the biggest issue at the time for me.

:lmao:  That's not so egregious so don't feel guilty over it. But it wasn't a big deal that they canceled games.

They were shaky against the Browns as well.    That's been the word since pre-season.   They can't stop anybody.    They have to out score folks.

Didn't the NFL play after the Kennedy assassination and catch hell?

Yes, his own QB.

Video footage may have revealed that it wasn't the first time he had done that.  :stir:

Yep but I think the family said they were cool with it.

That was a little before my time but yes that did happen. As to how much hell they caught over it, I'm sure some of the old timers here can attest to it.

That crap happens in this day and age and political climate and half the country celebrates.

Steelers really sucked back then.   They would have been better with the week off.

That's one of the things that brings all of Goodell's disciplinary decisions into question.   As much as I despise the 'skins and the Cowboys, I wonder about their "fines" during the labor discussions as well.

NFL?  What's that?
Not to pontificate but I'm pretty tired of the whole NFL experience.

It's like the NHL and the BPL except it's an American game.    ;)

I can already get the feeling that Goodell is gonna be one of the most hated commissioners before he's done, I don't know much about Tagliabue or whatever his name was, but I don't think he was particularly hated or liked.

So, we're gonna replace Rendon with Zimmerman?     :stir:
