My outlaws live in the Seattle area.    Visited them a few years ago and did a boat tour around the Seattle waterfront.    One thing I remember was the tour guide talking about the weather in Seattle.    He said, "When it's cloudy, it's raining.    When it's sunny, it'll be raining soon."

If St. Stephen wants to call it a dome...then it's a dome...

Does he pitch well in closed roof places?

Dangerous lineup using the back up catcher as the DH.

The A's do it all the time. Ramos is DHing.

I meant using the catcher as a DH. I just dont like it. You cant use a PH or PR for Lobaton and if he gets hurt you are screwed.

They just use Bryce as catcher. The Devil will finally catch The Savior

A's carry 3 - Jaso, Norris, and Vogt, but I think they have played all 3 at the same time.

By the way, anyone notice how the O's are optioning down their pitchers with options to the minors so they can carry extra bench and bring back the pitchers on turn when the minor league season ends? They sent chen to the GCL after his last start, their seaosn ends today, so they can then bring him up for his regular start tomorrow.   They'll option Tillman to Bowie after tonight, I think, to make room.  Then Bowie's season ends and they can bring him back up.

Nats should do this with JZ and bring up an extra catcher if they plan on DHing Ramos.

If you do have to PH or PR for Lobaton then Ramos moves to catcher and the pitchers hit the rest of the way. That wouldn't be happening unless it's late in the game anyway so it's no big deal as relievers always get PH for anyway.

Unless Jose gets a concussion on a play at the plate in the first inning.

Wouldn't have to worry about that if the buffalo were catching...he'd have already dropped the ball...

Zimmermann has over 5 years of service time and could elect free agency instead of being optioned.

I just ordered my half off Papa Johns - Double pepperoni, spicy Italian sausage, beef, baby Portabello, pineapple, roma tomatoes, black olives on well done crust.  Papa Johns is notorious for soggy crust.  Well done crust seems to mitigate that a little.

You lose the DH if you do that.

Not many home plate collisions with the new rule.
