You're kidding, right? All you do is nag and moan just to get attention.

I neither nag nor moan unless you consider being realistic as nagging and moaning...but you know what's worst than nagging and moaning?  People who refuse to see the reality of what's happening around them.  People who can watch this game, look at the upcoming schedule and not see likely enormous trouble ahead.

They'll never catch 2012 now :(

Maybe not catching 2012 means a different outcome?  Like less regular season winning but more post season winning - I'd be ok with that

The Nats get to face King Felix Friday night.  They needed to win this game.

I see a difficult schedule ahead. I don't crap myself over it.

Or just win the other 2 -

But haven't Nats been pretty good against pretty good pitchers this year?

Mariners can't score - like at all - so maybe it will be a surprise

Our best tonight vs their worst and still lose. Fister gagged.

Seattle needs to win. They will overwhelm the Nats.

He's a nut job. Pure and simple. Everybody knows it and laughs it off. Or they just run away from the board altogether.

Meanwhile

Something realistic to talk about is Detwiler who has been rocked his last few outings - whatever mojo he had there for a while seems to be gone now. That sucks, is he out of options? Maybe a minor league stint would do him some good.

And Fister seems to have hit a wall in the 6th inning in the last couple of outings. I wonder if he needs to skip a start or 2 down the stretch here

When did I crap myself about it?   I went down game by game and looked at each matchup.  Believe it or not, someone is going to win each of those games so the matchups actually matter.

I hope so.  Sheesh, right now the Nats seem just as streaky as the Barves.  I'm hoping the Barves and Marlins can beat up on each other this weekend and neither one gain much ground on the Nats.

you have a very strange definition of owning

Unless you mean declaring all is lost and whining like nages like usual - then yeah, they're definitely doing a ton of that

Glad I switched on the Royals-Twins game.  Good to see Billy Butler continuing his MVP campaign.

Just a crapting series all the way around

Burn the tape

Time to head west

But seriously whats' with the umpire crew? (2 different crews???) they were particularly horrendous for both teams all the way around. I hope that's the last time we see anything that bad in one series again

No!  She doesn't.  The glass of the Washington Nationals right now is not half full but she won't address that.  She keeps trying to find excuses to why it's not bad rather than accepting that it's bad.  It might not stay bad but it's bad right now.
