THE START OF THE GAME IS BEING DELAYED DUE TO CEREMONIES.
The Taney Dragons were the talk of Philadelphia and claimed the national spotlight during their historic run at the Little League World Series. The Little Leaguers and their families will make their "Leadoff Walk" into the stadium -- escorted by the Penn Band and led by the Phillie Phanatic. All 12 players on the Taney Dragons' roster will simultaneously throw ceremonial first pitches. Serving as their catchers will be players from the 2014 Phillies.
The Taney Dragons represented the Mid-Atlantic region in the Little League World Series, and 13-year-old Mo'ne Davis captivated fans and became the first female pitcher to win a game in the series' 68-year history. The team was eliminated from the series a game short of the United States championship game.
