I would like to see each team get 2 challenges like tennis for balls and strikes. If they are right they get to keep using them.

Pitches directly down the middle have been called balls before. Almost invariably, the ball was received poorly. Bad framing can hurt, especially on "obvious" strikes.From watching on tv that pitch looked like a ball, you expect the ump to perfectly see where the ball intersects an invisible rectangle?

They could do it quick like tennis. Put the pitch track up on the scoreboard when someone challenges
No idea. Basically because he's been doing it for so long and he does it every time.
