Where the freak was that last pitch to Rollins? (Image removed from quote.)
LOL at blaming Ramos Holy crap that pitch was in the MIDDLE of the plate
Like it or not, umpires are influenced by the catchers. The Nationals have lost over a hundred strikes compared to the average team or something like that
There was no excuse on any level on any planet for calling that pitch to Rollins a ball. Blaming it on "framing' is laughable. I suppose the Philly catcher "framed" those balls a foot off the plate to Harper in the 9th last night as well. It's ridiculous. Home plate umpires are incompetent ego maniacs. They need to be flushed from the game once and for all
Mark Zuckerman @ZuckermanCSN Hate to pick on umps, but in 3 innings, Iassogna has called 8 pitches out of zone strikes, 5 pitches in zone balls: http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pfxVB/zoneTrack.php?month=8&day=27&year=2014&game=gid_2014_08_27_wasmlb_phimlb_1/&prevDate=0827 …

Easy. Use the eye in the sky for strike calls.
Has to happen - there's no excuse to continue to trot these dinosaurs out there every night
