Nice! Wilson up to 5th. I also like the hammer down aspect with only one non-starter in the line up on get away day despite winning the last 9. Let's go Gio!

Yup. I like Ramos catching a day game.

Theory: José was in the other night because he calls a better Strasbourg game. We might be seeing catchers chosen more on the rotation and less on arbitrary rules based on rest.

It seems clear that the Nats want Cabrera to play second base for them now and in the future...no reason for Danny to be at shortstop otherwise.

10 straight :w:'s would be huge...

I think it's more of a bias.    :)       I hope he does well but I ain't bettin' the rent check on it.    Wouldn't it be classic for today to be Espinosa walk off day (though I don't think Williams will let that happen)?

The Nats better not be getting away...we have tickets for the Friday and Saturday games...and I sure as hell don't want to drive to San Francisco...

I'm with you on Danny...not a fan at al...though he is one of ours.   :bang:

If he does walk it off, we'll likely be stuck with Rizzo giving him a Zim-like deal...

Good one Mit! As Curly would say "oh a wise guy!" my doctor visits are shorter than an Espinosa swing!

ET

Customer: "Are you sure you can do this job? I want to make sure this work is in competent hands"

Curly: "Soitenly! We're all incompetent!"

Moe:" We eluded 'em " as the Stooges evade their chasers

Curly: "Yeah and we got away too"

I'm aware...why does that matter on the lineup posted for us...

He is good at what he does well. Today he is being asked to do those things. Relax!

varoadking on the DL after the win last night?

We were in Virginia Beach for the Alice Cooper / Motley Crue concert last night, Mitlin...

Thought we had 5th row center seats, but they use the first 4 rows for security...so my daughter and I ended up in the front row, as Bob Uecker might say.

Will post pics in the Red Porch as soon as the event host sends them to us...

Had a great time and saw the :w: @ 2:00am...

I guess he can walk around signing bobbles all day! Then come in for the ninth inning walk off ala Rendon if necessary.

...  and it'll give him time to remove all the batting helmets for the 5 homeruns the Nats will hit today.

We better not need a walkoff after five home runs

My thought as well.     Thus, making the walk-off unneeded.
