:phew: Gio literally does the same crap in every start. So much struggling.

To struggle and then wriggle out of it is a good sign though. Better than the last few outings.

Meh, not a good sign of things to come. He's done this every start. Gets out of a few jams but still ends up giving it up eventually. Hopefully the bats can put up some runs for him.

And this after Matt Williams said he wanted to arm wrestle you on the pregame presser?

I swear, if this team let's Jeff Locke dominate them...

Just gotta say, terrible lineup by Williams. Hariston should be in and Frandsen should be playing first

I watched his start vs Detroit earlier this week. They gave him an early 8-1 lead and he still was laboring through every single inning and ended up going 5 IP and giving up 8 hits, 4 walks, and 4 runs. His control was bad.

Jeff Locke is terrible.  LaRoche should be able to hit him.

Nope. 2 months ago Desmond would have struck out on that sequence.

Desmond giving a struggling pitcher a free out. Same thing Span did last night. I don't get it.

Every inning we don't score is an inning closer to when the Pirates can get Locke out of the game still with a chance to win because he's their worst pitcher.

Yes, that sentence also works with Gio.
