As the home of the national pastime in the Nation's Capital, the Washington Nationals are proud to work with the large community of military bases, installations and hospitals that serve as permanent or temporary homes to military service members and their families living in the Washington Metropolitan area.
In-Game Military Salute
The Nationals offer premium seating in the Lexus Presidents Club for select military groups and their families during every home game. The tickets include a gourmet buffet, complimentary in-seat food and beverage service, and views of the underground batting cages and post-game press conference. At the end of the third inning, honorees are recognized on NatsHD and receive a standing ovation from fans.

Me and a Friend Program
In partnership with USO of Metropolitan Washington, this program recognizes the challenges that military children face as they continually relocate due to their parents' military assignments. The Nationals provide tickets to children of active duty service members for every Sunday game of the season, giving them the opportunity to use the free tickets to connect with peers and help make new friends. The group is also first in line for Kids Run the Bases after the game.
Player Visits
Nationals players are one of the team's most powerful and visible resources and they have embraced opportunities to show their personal support for our nation's heroes.
Throughout the season, players visit with wounded veterans and their families at hospitals and at the ballpark. These visits frequently transition into deeper relationships between players and veterans.
For the second consecutive year, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff invited a Nationals player on his USO Holiday Tour to bring cheer to members of the military serving abroad. Adam LaRoche represented the team on the tour, meeting with deployed troops in Greece, Afghanistan, Italy and Germany. In 2012, Craig Stammen and Ross Detwiler represented the Nationals on this special trip.
Discounted Game Tickets
Military service members receive deeply discounted Nationals tickets available exclusively to them and their families. Tickets can be purchased through MWR and ITT offices at area bases and the Pentagon. Most ticket levels also include a food and beverage credit to reduce the total cost of the outing.
