didn't he go to Towson for a while?  It's tough to give a scholarship to a guy who will miss your friday night games.  Oddly, in the ACC, with games on Sunday, it probably fit his schedule better than other leagues.  I think he ended up a bit more mortal than the articles made him out to be.
