The way things are going we're going to build up a lead in the division that by the time we meet the braves again we are going to be able to bury them in their own stadium Build-Um-Bare Ball Park.

...BANG!! ...ZOOM!!!
NATIONALS WIN!!!!!

Roark had a Denard Span booblehead in his locker. In Cincinnati.

Thanks to Chris Johnson swinging at the first pitch after 3 straight walks and popping out. He must have gone to the Ian Desmond school of hitting.

Lol this was pretty good. I would love to see this guy do some play-by-play with F.P. for a game in the most un-P.C. way. "You gonna learn today" in particular made me lose my crap. That should be the Nats' motto if they can be more consistent.

Gracias, not sure if I'm more surprised you showed up in a GDT, especially of mine (Although the Nats started playing not long before the O's :poke:), or that you recognized that. If anyone else did I wasn't aware, I was beginning to think I was the only one who knew that book.

Any way, great win. I know we crushed Cueto last time but I hope Gio and everyone else can keep that going. We have some leeway right now to play with, but not a ton.

I once taught special ed.  I read that book to many a kid having a TERRIBLE HORRIBLE NO GOOD VERY BAD DAY!

Been doing boring stuff around the house and checked this thread for the score.  I also like all the celebration visuals for wins!!!

Span's on fire.

He has played well most of the year...in the field and at the plate...

Not sure why Spidey doesn't like him...  :couch:

Which is why it pissed me off even more that Mathguy always grouped me with all the Span detractors (and seemed to beliee I was one of the main ones  :smh:).
