You should never have a roster where you have to have left handed hitters in your lineup against left handed pitcher.  It's a tremendous handicap.

This roster is dysfunctional.

Lefty lefty matchup. Should have sat Roachy tonight.

He has good numbers against Hole Camels though.

The anonymous NY officials wouldn't have overturned that call.

LaRoche vs. Hamels: 10-34 with a double and four home runs. That might be why he's in there.

Strasburg looks like he wants to give the run right back.

See, that's a perfect example of BABIP bullcrap.  Good pitch away that gets poked to where the defense isn't

Seems to happen to Stras a lot.

Always some kinda excuse for him.

You're right. Why do we spend so much time watching such a random game?

It's a compliment to the batter for making it happen, obviously.

Oh man Stras just owned Utley and Howard.  Haven't seen him hit 97 in the first in a long while

When he's on he's unhittable.

Striking out #3 and #4 with a runner on third is studly.

Strasburg dropped it in there and Howard and the entire stadium waited for the strike call.  That was sweet.

When he's on he's unhittable.

An inning like that is where the huge dichotomy comes for traditionalist vs sabremetrics.  Traditionalists will look at the leadoff double and all that crap and forgive for those awesome strikeouts.  Sabremetricians will chalk the double up to a hitter being a good pitch and contextualize the second strikeout with the guy on third.

One sees him as good, one sees him as otherworldly.
