Losing Desmond would be crippling. Just cannot afford Espinosa in the lineup every day. And Walters would be no better.

We need BiL to tell us that the responsible thing is not to assume Desmond will miss any significant time.

Braves getting desperate on July 10th. Using Kimbrel in the 8th inning of a game vs the Mets.

Well, can Souza play short?  he has another 4 hits tonight.  There's no way he can't play in the majors...  he's hitting .374

Anything's a guess now, right?

Swollen, sore, I'd guess a game or two before he comes back.  But put it on ice, take a couple of Alleve and call me in the morning.

Walter Cronkite would be better than Espinosa.

And then the All Star break. That's a week to rest up.

Not a chance. Souza will languish forever

I suspect Souza can play 2B. And catch. And pitch. And 3B. And WR.

Definitely desperate if a major league manager uses his best reliever in a high leverage situation instead of a save opportunity.

Cronkite could only go to his left
