To be fair, he's far and away their best broadcaster, the rest are downright horrible, Bordick is straight sleep-inducing
Palmer is good.

Palmer is good.

Palmer is as smart an announcer as he was a pitcher

PS- but he looks like he hangs out with Joan Rivers too much

Palmer is good.

ehh, he's too holier-than-thou for me, also too many references to players from the 60's.

He's a hipster.    He was Hamil before Hamil.

Their approach was to swing early and often tonight vs Tillman and it's not working. A bunch of popups.

When your pitcher gets your first hit, you've pretty much hit rock bottom.

Military pay must have increased a lot since 1970.    How the hell did the swabies get the $300 seats?
Those expensive seats are donated by the Nationals to members of the military who were injured in combat and now recuperating.

Cool.    My only question is, "All Navy?"     Maybe just this evening.   Lots of low level swabbies so that leaves out the SEALs.    Wonder how they were injured?    I'm too cynical.

I'm not usually down on Stras but I am worried about him being out on the basepaths instead of relaxing on the bench.  Hopefully I am overanalyzing it.
