Do you know by any chance what he was throwing at? Was he just working on a certain pitch?
I think low 90s but that is a guess. Seemed he was mixing things up as I saw a few breaking balls. I was sitting next to all the scouts but didn't ask. They were all too busy spitting tobacco juice into their coke cans.
To be honest the pitcher for Lynchburg was more impressive. Justin Merryweather. Came in with no earned runs in 11 innings and added 6 more innings to that.
