...or a bag of peanuts...

Wanted him to do well tonight...he just didn't seem to have it in him...

Me too. Crap. He really is as bad as he has seemed.

I think it's time to cut ties with Detwiler.

Williams did not even look at Detwiler while taking the ball.

Why warm up Mattheus? Did I miss Stammen?

Save him for when it might matter? Might need him in an extended mode on Thursday.

F'n Williams. Why is Detwiler pitching again?

My dream didn't come true. I didn't wake up to see both of those turds fired.

We want Michael Gonzalez!

Detwiler 5.06 ERA, 1.88 WHIP.

Gonzo 9.2 IP 4 H 0 R 5 BB 9 K, 2 saves in AAA.

Because when you have a tired pen and a pitcher that needs some good innings - and an eight run lead - you use him.

Because he can't be optioned to the minor leagues.

Because he used to be able to go through an order twice pretty handily.

Who cares? He sucks. We would be better off if we traded him for a sack of peanuts.

well, it's over, and it's a good win...and, a good game, obviously, save for (* clears throat *), mr. detwiler (who I like, and who I would always say, is a starter, and not a bullpen arm)...
