Epic thread potential. Now, all they have to do is stay ahead the whole game so I don't have to leave the GDT again. (Credit me with a  :w: , thank you)

Philisophical question to ponder pre-game:  Is it possible to high 5 Jose Altuve?

Thread needs a picture of a Rice lineup card. Love that coach's handwriting.

Oh, funny story about #6 batter Chargois. (It's pronounced "Shag-wa".) J.T. Chargois signed up for the class that I taught, Intro to Detective Fiction. On the first day, we went around the room talking about murder mysteries we liked, why the students joined the class, why I was teaching it, etc. J.T. Chargois was super confused and said "Uhhh... I don't know, I guess I watch CSI?"

Right after class he dropped. Turned out he had signed up for it by mistake, and had meant to click "History of the Olympics" and somehow clicked on mine instead.

J.T. Chargois recently had Tommy John surgery and is rehabbing in the Minnesota Twins organization.

Hairstyle Appreciation Day celebrates uniqueness of all styles of hair. It allows us to express our individuality. Each generation of youth creates it's own hairstyles, or come back to style that were popular years ago. We include among the hairstyles, hair coloring and shaved heads. After all, no hair is a hair style.

Not really.

Laroche has banged up knee and needed a day. Williams thinks Desi is going to break out. Fransden hits lefties well and McLouth doesn't. Hence the lineup.

OH HEY GUYS I JUST NOTICED

View this photo. Notice #10, C Craig Manuel. He is now the starting catcher for the Hagerstown Suns, and has .341/.434/.614 with 3 dingers in 13 games so far this year.
