You figured by pure luck we'd have gotten at least 1 hit with a runner in scoring position. Insane.

Everyone on the team had a chance to win the game practically. what a disappointment. huge momentum shift, Stammen will crap the bed.

I guess driving in a run to the NATS means - taking them for a ride around the beltway.

Because they don't have a clue how to do it the baseball way.

Nats have stranded 13 baserunners. 0 for 11 with RISP.

:hang: should have been a comfortable win.

only way we were going to win was a walk, wild pitch, or HBP

Why does double-switching make sense here? So Stammen can pitch multiple innings I guess.

I'm not expecting it to come to that.

I hope he's on. Detwiler and Barrett are likely not available. Maybe Storen if this goes much longer?

I get taking grounders as practice but if OF needs to field fly balls they should be down with low A ball players.

Can you challenge as to the timeliness of a challenge?

"5. If the Crew Chief determines that a Club's invocation of a Manager's Challenge is untimely, the play shall not be reviewed, the Umpire's call shall stand, and the Club shall not be charged with a challenge. The Crew Chief shall have the final authority to determine whether a Manager's Challenge is timely. The judgment of the Crew Chief regarding the timeliness of a Manager's Challenge shall be final and binding on both Clubs, and shall not be reviewable by Replay Review or otherwise."

Exactly. We may need multiple innings from Craig (but hopefully not).
