the best manager for this team is sitting upstairs with Johnny and he has expressed the desire

What on God's green earth makes you think he's the right guy for the job? Seriously? What has he done as a manager that would make it werth making him our manager?

Matt Williams is a terrible manager.

Tony LaRussa was a pain in the a** to watch but he was on top of everything.    Our managers, Williams and Johnson, seem to go into "pause" for batters or innings at a time.   Once they come back into the now, we're screwed.

Tyler Clippard should only be used in the Henry Rodriguez spots.

Using Clip to start the 8th was a bad decision but letting him face Ibanez was the worst decision. Piss poor managing.

Striking out 20/9 innings in AAA, I like it.

what has MW done as a manager ? just listen to Ray, the man has baseball knowledge oozing from his pores. Ray has experience as a manager while MW seems to be learning on the job with a huge learning curve

Knight in a manager's uni can't look any worse than that combination he has on tonight.   :)    He looks like Phil Wood dressed him.

Matt Williams says a lot that he doesn't care what happened in the past then why does he keep putting Clippard in the game in the 8th when he clearly cannot get it done this season???!!
Matt Williams had no problem pulling Clippard against the Cardinals on Friday night.  He'd only gotten one out and put 2 on base with a walk and a hit.

19 games, not at all a small sample size. Man, has SF and PC turned everyone into a bunch of Chicken Little GDT martyrs?
