Matheny must have went to the Riggleman School of Double-Switching.

Even worse.  The Tony LaRussa School of Double-Switching

Harper was supposed to be the next big thing. Right now he's nowhere near. he was supposed to do what Trout is doing but he isn't. No you can't blame Harper but when you're on the cover of SI at 16, you better bring it.

Youngest player in baseball & averaging over 4 WAR a season, wow he's so bad. Needs to learn how to bring it.

It's bad when the highlights segment on NatsHD is basically a recap of the Presidents Race

Desmond killing the Nationals. Should have been sat on the bench a week ago.

Harper is made of glass. How can others not be tired of it. I don't get it.

Why did Lance Lynn leave after only 87 pitches?

Don't give up on the possibility he was benched for acting like an jerk

team has no balls.

with the offense scuffling the only way we can win is low scoring which we threw away in the second inning.

I can't crucify the pitching for giving up 4 runs.

Especially since only 1 was earned.

This team has no margin for error. One freakup or bad pitch and the game is gone.

They have to play a perfect game like last night to have any chance to win. The starting pitching and defense need to carry the team and right now it's not happening consistently.
