I saw it.

I didn't see it because I'm listening on the radio. So he loafed it? Why was he faking being a hustling ballplayer when he was 19?

I'm starting to enter the BH34 world of just being sick of Harper. It's always something with this guy. He's not even in Mike Trout's universe and Trout doesn't have any of the other non-sense.

Uh, what does Trout have to do with Harper?  You can't exactly blame Harper for comparisons people other than Harper make.

Just make sure you don't go to the other side of that world.    ;)

But that was two innings ago.  Why take him out now?

Yeah if that's the reason then it makes no sense to do it now. He may have tweaked something on that catch.

Harper was supposed to be the next big thing. Right now he's nowhere near. he was supposed to do what Trout is doing but he isn't. No you can't blame Harper but when you're on the cover of SI at 16, you better bring it.

Because it happened at the bottom of the 6th?

dagger. Jordan left in the game too long by Matt Williams.

This team is the mother freaking pits.

Probably should have been pulled after letting two men on.

That's definitely game now. 4 runs may as well be 40.

But the fact that Harper was just sitting on the bench and not getting treatment is curious if he reinjured himself.

nice bunt. This team has no qualities of a contending team.

I'm pretty sure Harper doesn't choose the SI covers.  And all he's done in his first two injury ridden seasons is continue to compare well to hall of famers.  So 3 weeks in now he's yet to really rip the cover off the ball, and you're going to turn on him?

Gotta love how efficient the Cards are hitting with RISP. That's the big difference between them and us.

You are right. It did happen last inning. He made the first out of the inning but that is a stupid reason to bench him. It was a tapper to the pitcher. There was no need to bust his ass on that play. The pitcher had the ball in his glove before he even had a chance to leave the batter's box. Expecting him to go all out there is little league crap.

The Nats just can't get it going this season. Why can't they play well and win like normal teams?

Bunch of overrated bums. At what point do we have to accept that this team is just not very good? It's been around 180 games the last two years of mediocre baseball. No signs of anything turning around.

BH - you really are ADD, aren't you ?  Can you wait until at least the All Star break before capitulating to the winers ?

Harper is just such a fruit cake: changing bats every AB, just a nut. Go talk to daddy, I'm sure he knows how to hit big league pitching lol lol. Not gonna get that $400 million contract like this JD Drew 2.0

Now we need Stras to pitch a gem tomorrow just to get a split. It's more likely he gets absolutely blasted for 5+ runs. I bet he allows 4 in the first inning and cries because the weather was too windy or some crap.

So putrid. This team has nothing. 2-7 record vs teams above .500 on the season now.

Was he injured in 2012?
