God I am just getting so frustrated with this team. It's been a disaster since October of 2012.

Who knows he may end up pitching a perfect game tomorrow.
He better. The heat is on him to put together a good start. Can't afford any more lapses.

Pressure will be on Stras to pitch a gem tomorrow, and we know how Stras performs under pressure....

Our offense doesn't show up until the 7th inning anyway.

Will someone attempt a bunt today?  You should always have Lance Lynn trying to field his position.

Everybody who's down on the Nats and think this one is over, go out and cut the grass and do some chores. :poke:

Why is it that every freaking game the opposing starter is always "on their game" and "spotting every pitch"??

Tom Koehler, Jose Fernandez, Adam Wainwright, Michael Wacha, Lance Lynn to name a few just this week.

My hand involuntarily begins to grope toward a bottle of The Famous Grouse every time I contemplate what our offence would be like if we didn't have Rendon...

Desmond :spaz:

The Nats are so mediocre. 2012 was a flash in the pan. This team is not capable of making that happen again. We will continue to flounder this year and next year and then blow it up in 2016.

So shutout on Thursday. 1 solo shot last night and a 2 run error. And then nothing today.

The only positive I can think of is that there are more bad teams than good so we'll still win a bunch of games but it probably won't be enough to make the playoffs.

Basically, same as last year.

In 20+ innings against St. Louis we have mustered...1 earned run. Pathetic.

I guess what I realize when we match up with the elite teams I see we're in a different class and anyone who thought we were World Series contenders was just plain stupid

Meh, if you're a playoff contender you're a world series contender.

Proof: 2010 and 2012 Giants. Those teams were pretty mediocre.
