Never thought I'd see the day again when the Bullets/Wiz are the hottest thing in town.

Our record says we're a winning team but this season is going to be ass if we can't get crap done against good teams.

We beat up on the little girls but when the big boys come around we become the little girl.  :hang:

Oh crap, I didn't even think about that. I think I already see smoke coming from the center field plaza.

Secret Service wouldn't tell him that.    They'd simply do it.   Mr. Met is selling a book for goodness sakes.    It's another New York bullcrap story.

So anyone at the park: when they showed the highlights on NatsHD tonight like they usually do around the 7th or 8th inning, what did they show?

We may need to revive the "worst offensive performance" thread.  :stir:

I bet they'll talk about this being a wake-up call and will proceed to carry no hits until way too late in the game tomorrow.

Yo folk
Sitting in theRed Porch eating dinner, sitting in the front row dead CFtonight. If you see a girl retch over the rail tonight that's my wife! She's not feeling so great

If the missus didn't retch before this game, the game probably put her over the edge.

True - the loss of Ramos is huge. But, again, you still have to play the games with the pieces you have and make it work.

This is just not as talented a team without those players.  Like it or not, when you start second tier players, you are a second tier team.  They will win series against the Marlins, Mets, etc but not against the better teams, and will probably end up with around 85-88 wins.

At least an 8-0 loss counts the same in the standings as a 1-0 loss.

We're closing in on your 1 year anniversary when you saw the light and joined the Legion.

Pete Kozma happened and nothing was ever the same.
