I mean why is it so hard for us to get the first three outs of a game? Other teams make it look effortless.

Especially those facing the Nationals.

For a guy with an odd looking delivery, you think he'd fool more batters than he does. Pretty sure Jordan is an AAAA pitcher.

there are no typos there

Soriano has been getting his job done this year. Starters are crapting the bed early and you want to cut Soriano? That makes perfect sense.

I really wanted to make it to payday tomorrow before hitting the liquor store, but this team is forcing me to blow my alcohol budget.

Yep. Our hitters never do anything until they've seen the pitcher a few times through the order. Yet other teams have no problem bashing the hell out of our starters the first time. What gives?

We had people here who thought John Lannan was an "ace". Others' who loved Jason Bergmann. The list goes on....

i was joking about how for our team getting the first three outs seems to be more difficult than getting the last three

The Nationals lead the majors in pitching strikeouts http://espn.go.com/mlb/stats/team/_/stat/pitching/sort/strikeouts/order/true … and defensive errors. That's a hard combo to pull off.

The defense is just giving them more chances to strike people out.  How thoughtful.

I could be in the minority but I hope Jordan keeps the five spot when Fister returns.  I like him better than Roark.

I do too. If it wasn't for the defensive gaffes he'd be looking pretty good through two innings. Already has three strikeouts.

AJ Burnett was playing with a hernia today and he held the Braves to zero runs.

I got that part but I didn't get the Soriano getting cut loose part.

I'm rooting for Roark, but I've been listening to the games on radio; hard to tell who's good that way.

But I'm really counting the days until Cole is ready.

Any chance the Cardinals would be willing to trade us Tavares and Wong for Harper?

For once I'd like to not be behind a zillion runs the first few innings.

Desmond may have more himself than some entire teams...

As I mentioned earlier, the Orioles only have three as a team. Desmond has six.
