You gotta have heart to be a Nats fan. See the manager modeled after Bucky Harris explain things. Bucky managed the Nats three times, including the 1924 champions. George Case III says his father, AL leading base-stealer about five season in a row, thought that Bucky (HoF) was the best manager he ever had. Clark Griffth loved Bucky. The owner in "Damn Yankees is taken from "The Old Fox" becauise he was Mr Baseball in Washington for more than 40 years. Also helped to found the AL as the most respected player in the old league. Sort of Player's Union Reop.

Look at that face (my avatar) and imagine Jason Marquis trying to curse him.

Here is Lola trying to seduce Tab (Joe Hardy) Hunter.  Profoundly sexy, even with clothe. (Reason my my parants would take me to the movie). Gwen Verdon is breath-taking.

In classic blach and white. See the intro to a typical '50s variety show.

Followed by Jimmy Fallon and Billy Chrystal and a few others as they re-enact "Whu's on First".

A skit that never gets tired.
