If hes going to bunt, may as well bat him leadoff

my point is, this team needs to find a way to get past Atlanta.

period. that's all there is to it.

they have owned us for the past 2 years, and the Nationals need to find a way to stop it. simple as that.

i don't think there has been a more thorough domination in the past few years between two specific teams, as Atlanta's dominance of us has been.

Atlanta. not LA, not St. Louis,  is the wall standing in our way, and we can't climb it. we need to figure out how to get over that wall, or else we won't ever win a world series.

Seems criminal to have Leon, Frandsen, and McClouth starting.

Why can't McCatty tell that his starter is gonna stink the joint up?

If you''d like some commercial-time or loser-time reading, I enjoyed this piece on how pitchers doctor the baseball by former MLB pitcher and author Dirk Hayhurst:

Harper's bunt singles don't play well in the 6 spot of this crappy lineup. What is he thinking? What is he doing?

What happened to the brush-back pitch? If Jordan is going to pitch poorly, why not break Simmons' arm?

Was really hoping we could scratch one across there. Bottom of our lineup is dead. The lineup as a whole needs re-tooled.

Maybe by adding three starters back in?

Yes I'm serious.  I may not know, but the freaking pitching coach sure as hell should.

Don't want to hurt him. Just make him crap himself like Stras did.

Some guys look great in the bullpen and go out and lay an egg. And vice versa. That's baseball. You gotta trust your guys.

Span is out. Put Simmons out.
