The only thing better than watching the Braves lose in person, is watching their fans start that stupid tomacock chant and then be silenced. Now if the Nats can learn how to beat them.... I'll be happy.

Watching AJ Burnett today, his first start after his "one for the record books" start against the Nationals, he's back to his usual crappy self, maybe even worse.

Those breaking balls, he was snapping off the Nationals? I hadn't even seen him attempt one until just now....it hung and sub-Mendoza backup catcher Anthony Recker put it in the seats for a 3-run homer. Mets lead 5-2.

We won another series too.

Nats have gone 2-4 over their last two series and the Braves gained a whopping two games. And they're still 1.5 games back from the Wild Card. They're done. They ain't making the playoffs. Nats are winning the World Series.
