We are never gonna catch the Barves now
Nationals the cream of the crop in NL Easthttp://espn.go.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/50745/nationals-the-cream-of-the-crop-in-nl-east...and the Braves fans are on the attack!
I laughed at somebody's comment, "the only thing Braves fans handle worse than criticism is a half inch of snow"
We really have to be able to win some of the games in the two series left against the Braves. We have to prove once and for that Atlanta can't run all over us and that we're the better team.
Seriously though, if we can run up the lead to, say, 12 games by the time we play them then who cares if we lose all six?
Because then we may see them in the NLDS...we need to bury them...
My only concern is the division. The Braves have owned the Nats, but I don't think it would matter in the NLDS. If they make the playoffs they'll be the easiest out.
If we end up with the best record in the NL, does it mean we automatically play the wild card winner first round, even if it's the Braves? (Seems to change year to year, how does it work this year?)
Nah, they match up well against the Nationals' pitchers for inexplicable reasons. It's best to bury them now. I'd much rather face the Giants or Cardinals.
They threw the division opponent rule out when they instituted the wild card. Nats would have played the Braves in 2012 had they beat the Cardinals.
The Nats have a worse win % against the Cards than they do the Braves over the past two seasons. Much worse, if you can believe it.
I believe it, but I want revenge.
Nationals sweep the Cards, then take it to the Orioles in the WS..
I don't even want the birds making it that far. freak the birds and their split loyalty fans.
