The Nats have put together a win streak that should have iced the Braves but the problem is it didn't.  So I don't blame Braves fans for being upset.  The Nats have a big lead, but it's still a race with 6 head to head games left.  The Nats are the hottest team in baseball, but the Braves aren't far behind - both are +23 over their past 10 games.  The answer is to keep winning.

My only concern is the division.  The Braves have owned the Nats, but I don't think it would matter in the NLDS. If they make the playoffs they'll be the easiest out.

Nah, they match up well against the Nationals' pitchers for inexplicable reasons. It's best to bury them now. I'd much rather face the Giants or Cardinals.

They threw the division opponent rule out when they instituted the wild card.  Nats would have played the Braves in 2012 had they beat the Cardinals.

Bring them both. Cards win their division and beat the Dodgers in their NLDS. Braves win the WC and get swept by the Nationals. Nationals sweep the Cards, then take it to the Orioles in the WS..
