Last night's Rockies win was a total bonus. They're playing about as bad as anybody in baseball along with Tampa. I don't expect any help from them today. Hoping the Angels do some damage in Atlanta this weekend.

The Braves are 1 single game out and they get 4 games next week vs their whipping boys. Colorado's season is on the brink of disaster, they need to win every game they can.

These prospective odds seem a bit odd to me. We have a better chance to win the World Series than the Giants or Dodgers, while both of them have better odds of making the playoffs than us. Explain that.

They have better playoff odds because the Braves and Marlins are stronger than the Padres and Rockies. We have better WS odds because we have the best rotation.

pretty much, the odds of a wild card team advancing should be half that of a division winner given the extra round

I was listening to AM570 driving in this morning. Andy Polin was interviewing some former Redskin from the 90s including the superbowl year. The also talked alot about George mason, for some reason. The Redskin talk was very interesting. (Mason talk wasn't.) Never figured out who it was because I got to my parking spot before I they mentioned who it was.
