If this is 2012 LaRoche, he belongs at 4- there really are no weak links- I like the lineup

Don't really care about the batting order as long as the best available players are in it. They're all good players.

Agreed.

The power of beard is what gets you in the 3 and 4 slots of Matt Williams' lineups.

Starting with a SH and then alternating lefty righty through the whole lineup until he gets to a SH at 8, right?

Why is Harper batting 6th?
Because his swing is all jacked up and until he gets it fixed, he shouldn't hit higher.

Cox in Fairfax County doesn't have the Nats game listed in its lineup again. Not exactly DVR friendly.

Weather here was chilly all day, but sun just came out so now we're in the mid 50s.

No, and neither was Opening Day, though it aired on 1074. I assume it will be on. It's just not on the schedule and not conducive for recording. I like to record the game and sit down to watch around 8:30 or so after dinner. I go through the commercials and other dead time and sometimes catch up before the game is over! Saves time.

Mattie was quoted as saying that he wants him to be free to play his game, meaning steal bases, go for the extra base, etc.

But you're probably right.

Because his swing is all jacked up and until he gets it fixed, he shouldn't hit higher.

I like Harper down in the order a bit. Takes pressure of him. I think sometimes he presses a bit.

I often wonder who cuts his hair?    Odd lookin' haircut, not that I should talk about haircuts.   :P   Maybe it's the big head and the small hat.

He looks like a South Side San Antonio used car salesman.

Yeah, no ballpark should be that empty :( I would totally be happy to take an empty seat behind the plate!
