He hits quite nicely from the right side against lefties, so platooning him a very feasible.

And most astonishing of all, he had a double batting left.

The pop fly he dropped should have been caught.

Yep, but one blown play doesn't change the fact that he is our best defensive infielder.  It seems he should always be starting against lefties.

Is it me, or does he seem faster on the base paths than he ever has before?   He could be handy as a late inning pinch runner as the games become more meaningful.

this is the best time to trade him  :hysterical:

Also, defying the very English language, the lefty double was a triple.

Give him another start, he's out hitting Harper in the second half :stir:

Seriously though, give LaRoche a day off, put Zim at first so he can work on being a pickin machine, and play Espinosa at second for another game against a lefty.

Well, it was a double for a mere mortal, which Danny heroically stretched into a triple.

Glad Espinosa had a good nite last night.  It's gotta be hard sitting in that dugout nite after nite.

If he could bat right-handed all the time, he wouldn't have to sit.

Given Zimmerman's leg strain, Danny should see more starts.
