Flip Harper with Ramos, and then Desmond with Ramos and I think it'd be near ideal.

Zimmerman in the 2? Ramos 4th?

granted, I haven't been able to watch any Spring Training games, been busy, plus i live in WV.  i just get game updates from MLB at Bat (thank god for that app).

but...

Zimmerman in the 2? Ramos 4th?

The sun is coming out here in midtown Manhattan.  About to jump on the 7 train and head to Queens.

GYFNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skies clearing in Upper Manhattan. Windy enough to blow the leafless trees around. Chilly: a little over 40 degrees. Hoping Nats' pitchers are careful throwing in colder weather.

Go Nats!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps apropos of nothing, but one thing this lineup does do is that if we get to a spot late in the game and the top of the order coming up, it mitigates the viability of a lefty specialist coming in vs. Span and Harper. That could be an issue later in the lineup with Werth and LaR, but it's an interesting wrinkle, at least to me. If you switched Harper and Ramos, you'd have two guys between your lefties all the way through, which I think I'd like even better late in the game, but I'm not sure how much that sort of a situation goes into planning a lineup.

MASN is probably demanding more money for audio. But doesn't this give you the opportunity to listen to C&D?

My local cable system, to my knowledge,  still hasn't made a permanent deal to show MLBEI this season, but the Nats are on my TV now.*  So, bang, zoom, nags, let's do this!

*MLBEI still not in HD in my area.
