Of course it is. Which is ironic in itself.

Or it's an automated response

it's absolutely an automated response, nevertheless, it still perfectly matches what you'd expect from a tone deaf organization- perhaps automated responses aren't a good idea from the Redskins

Are we sure Allen is an upgrade over Vinny? Hearing this, I'm less sure than ever

:bang: no culture problem, followed by turning it on the players and the individual games, because god forbid the front office take any blame

I find this all amusing; what does anyone think someone who is trying to keep his job in the organization is going to say.

He's team president - hiring a GM would appease most people calling for his job

Do you (the generic you as in the fans) really think they care what 106.7 or Johnson or The Team or NBC4 thinks?   To my knowledge, this is a privately owned and operated company to include the ownership of the stadium where they play.    Why do they owe Grant Paulsen or Dave Owens or Dianna Russini or even that Hall of Famer Trey Johnson (never mind) an answer to any questions, let alone the truth?

some of it is interesting to listen to but generally I don;t pay much attention.  Most of it is just their feelings from watching what is happening and no more astute than many of the posters here and at other sites.

I wasn't trying to pick you out.   I was responding to the post(s) generally.    They were gonna rip Allen no matter what he said because they all think they're smarter than he is.    I'd love for him to get up there and tell the real truth.

Something like, "Look, Paulsen.    What do you really know about anything besides the buffet?    You read a lot.   You covered the 'skins for a few years for an all sports talk, non-descript, low-rated show and your partner is a stand-up comedian by trade.    C'mon Grant.    Get real."

I know what you mean; if he said Danny was a meddling fool then he wouldn't have a job.  Of course he has made his bed and need to lay in it.  They just want to antagonize in hoped of getting a good sound bite.

A lot of the press have drunk the koolaid in the past when Allen was hired or when Gruden was hired or when Shanahan was hired, etc.
