Just forgot word that Dallas's best brewery, Lakewood, is brewing a Sin Mint stout that pairs with Thin Mints.

I always thought the theory of food/drink pairing was to use different tasting items.  The only example I can come up with is eating candy before drinking coke. It makes the coke tasteless. Or cupcakes and juice from elementary school. The juice sucks. Cookies and milk, maybe coffee or something. The formula is sweet plus not sweet. Maybe a foodie can correct me...
