If you want crunchy hummus.

If you want it smooth, you have to cook them for a bit in an oven. Go with these instructions: http://www.thehealthymaven.com/2013/10/homemade-pistachio-butter.html
I buy pre-roasted pistachios. I'm guessing those will work without any further cooking, yes?

Should be fine. This is a much more detailed guide that will prevent you from getting too frustrated with your pistachio-blending adventures http://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-homemade-peanut-butter-cooking-lessons-from-the-kitchn-199110

Just takes a while, but it's probably worth it. I have some old pistachios I should do this to but unfortunately my food processor is pretty crap. It might do the job though.

You don't have an oven?

A few weeks ago we checked out the new Tanger Outlets in PG County. There is a Harry & David store there that sells.....

Bacon chipotle barbecue sauce.

Fabulous stuff. I had used it before on pork and it was decent, but last night I used it on boneless, skinless chicken thighs and it was glorious. Ms1995hoo even liked it and she's not big on bacon. I will definitely be going back over there for more of this stuff.

(I grilled the chicken on a gas grill over low heat for about half an hour, turning it and rotating it every four or five minutes.)

I love The Black Hog and Timbuktu! Last three meetings we've had down in that region lead to the Black Hog twice and Timbuktu once. The crabcake sandwich at Timbuktu was out of this world.

You must be the world's best roommate.  Mine generally just lay baked on the couch and borrowed my stuff when I wasn't there.

I DO borrow your stuff, but I do NOT lay baked on the couch. Lunched maybe, but not baked.

Is "aioli" just a more expensive word for "mayo?"

It looks better than it sounds, I'll give you that.  I guess it's a variation on a spanish tortilla, just with transfats, industrial grade starch, and MSG instead of potatoes.

Kind of reminds me of stuff I would cook up in college after a night of playing bong poker.  I think I made quite a few Elvis specials at 4 a.m.

Yeah it's not noodles folded into an omlette, it's cooked noodles mixed with the raw eggs then fried.  Be sure to add the delicious MSG packet to the eggs when you're scrambling them for ultimate shameful eating.

Is it wrong that I so want to make one of those right now?

I would probably put on a large wedge of brie (over the bacon) and throw it in the oven for a little while.  And then stick the whole mofo in a hollowed out batard loaf.  freak the health nazis.

I'd do a couple of bong hits first

I made this a couple of times...it has about 40 cloves of garlic.  I used a full pound of bacon and a pound of extra sharp cheddar.  It did not suck.
