I respectfully disagree. He knows the game and is a student of the game. When he first came up he really worked counts and hustled EVERYTHING. Now he is frustrated and has reverted to spoiled brat primadonna  behavior in my opinion. He has been on touring teams since he was 9 years old. Nobody tosses their helmet or cusses more than him. I never thought it was laziness either its behavior that primafdonna/headcases revert to when things don't go their way. I hope I am wrong but I don't think so.

I don't think he's lazy. I don't think he knows who he is - so he tiptoes the line between primadonna and such - he wants so badly to be a star. But his ability isn't there. I don't think the ability is there, when people say that, I am not sure why they're saying it. His swing looks horrible and has for over a year now. There are at-bats he gets so many meatballs to hit and misses mistakes. Great hitters don't do that. We are all excited about an OPS of .806 over a small sample size? Really? With what we were told this guy would be.

Every time you think he's getting hot he takes another 0-for. He's just okay. Which at this point is a disappointment. This is supposed to be his team, it's not. He's a role player basically.
