Don't know where to put this but I'm pretty sure Barves fans are retarded. There's a fan that is trying to tell me that Freeman was a legit MVP candidate.

Definitely goes here: http://www.wnff.net/index.php?topic=30172.0

Actually I'm gonna bump it anyway because we play them today.

if you think there are 100 legit MVP candidates, it isn't, but I somehow can't see a first baseman who doesn't hit many home runs getting an MVP
It's all going to depend on how many RBI opportunities he gets. If he gets 110 RBI (which he's capable of) he could be in the conversation. This early in the season, a guy like Freeman is absolutely a legit candidate. As the season progresses, that list shrinks considerably. Nats probably have four guys that could be considered legit contenders. Maybe a couple more if you include pitchers.

If he has a big season (possible) AND the Braves are in the race (also possible) why is that far fetched? This early in the season, there are about 100 players that I'd call legit MVP candidates.

He used the past tense "was."  I think the guy thought Freeman was last year.

Don Mattingly scratched Yasiel Puig for being 10 minutes late. I think there's a pissing contest going on in LA.

Maybe the Mets aren't completely terrible. Time will tell, but winning two in a row against the Reds is promising.

I think the Mets are pretty good except for a few guys in their pen.

TJ for Jameson Taillon. That freaks up Pittsburgh's plans quite a bit.

Everyone else in the division is losing/lost except for us.

Fish lost to Friars, Mets washed away by Reds, and Phils down at Wrigley.

Oh, and of course the Barves lost.

And the Phillies have already postponed their home opener tomorrow

Pedroia sucked it up for awhile when he was promoted, I'm hoping Hamilton figures it out, I saw him in Pensacola and he is some kind of fun to watch, SO freaking fast!

yeah, just can't seem to figure out how to get on base. 0-12 with a walk and the one time he got on base, he got caught stealing.   Only had a .308 OBP at AAA last year (but was over .400 at lower levels).  I gambled on him in my money league and took him in something like the 12th round, i've got him on the bench in favor of Dustin Ackely now (who's hitting something like .400).

Pedroia could drive the ball, which isn't one of Hamilton's strengths.

Glad I drafted Yordano Ventura and held on to him. Looking like a phenom tonight vs Tampa Bay.

The Rockies say Troy Tulowitzki has a "minor" pulled quad and he will attempt to play through it.

This is going to end well I'm sure.
