Yes, and fans just can't handle that sort of stress.  There'd be a lot more team no-hitters if pitchers were replaced as needed rather than keeping the starter in there  :pray: gassed hoping for a statistical nicety.

In other words, everyone (managers, players, fans) gets hung up on the no-hitter and forgets about just winning the game and pacing pitchers for the full season.

He threw 108 pitches. Honestly, is there a reason he should have gone out and tried to throw a no hitter on 150 pitches? It's one thing if your in a pennant race or looking for the big contract. It's another if you're not.
