I don't want this to happen mainly because I don't know if I can put up with the infamy attached to it and the way the media will treat it.

Clearly because we shut down Stras last year...

No, he really hadn't slowed down too much, he had at least a couple of years left...and the Pirates were a really solid club in the '70s.

That's not the way I remember it.   We felt "The Great One" would play another 10 years.

Damn I never realized that. My father was a Senators fan but Clemente was his favorite player.

The best I've ever seen.   Harper has a chance, he reminds me of the Great One.

Where the freak is PC when we need him! Every time he bumps the "worst offensive performance" thread the Nats do something positive on offense. He's probably making a salad.  :?

Is that something pirates fans called him? I've never heard that attached to Clemente.

Arriba  ...  that's what Bob Prince would say when Clemente' did a   ...   well "Clemente'".   Prince also referred to Clemente' as "The Great One".

This is what Davey gets for playing all starters tonight. No excuse for it.

Should have played all of the bench players, the fool.

Has Bob said anything about the no hitter or is he not saying anything in order not to jinx it?

That way you could nag about playing a weak lineup.

He's probably sporting major wood, but I don't think he's mentioned anything yet...

They would have more than 0 hits right now.

Just tuned in. See what happens when I don't watch. It's my fault so don't blame it on the Stras shutdown.

He'll have a "milk" mustache if this happens.
