How long did that take? :lmao:    I'm surprised SF didn't call it on Opening Day.

Our season comes down to LaRoche.  How fitting.

May 18

Although you also called season for the Marlins on Apr 16, I think!

Are the Yankees officially eliminated?

They're four back in the Wild Card with four other teams ahead of them.

A horrible end to a horrible season. They should be ashamed.

Makes me feel a little better that one of Pirates/Reds will be eliminated after one game.

And then I will be rooting like crazy for Cardinals to beat the Braves in 1st round.

I wouldn't mind if the Cardinals fell out of the division lead and had to play the WC game.

I want the braves to make it all the way to the World Series and suffer a gut wrenching, soul crushing, heart breaking defeat in the final game. (only because I have post season strips)

I love this scenario! The Red Sox can rip the souls out of Braves fans while Cope watches from the stands

I wish Alexandria asked Werth how he felt after being eliminated.

Nats eliminated from post-season...Mystics crashed out last night as well (although at least they did make their league's playoffs)...Redskins 0-3 (but please stop blaming RGIII for everything - what does he have to do with the second-worst scoring defence in the NFL?)...DC United an absolute nightmare...Capitals must compete in tougher re-aligned division...and Wizards must begin with Okafor (herniated disk in back) and Singleton out.

Such is the life of a Washington sports fan.

Horrible? Ashamed?
Being 84-73 with 5 games to go and 2nd in the Division is Horrible?
Well if you look at it with the super expectations and Pre-Season predictions then OK it is horrible, but looking at it like it is our 2nd consecutive :w: ining Season it isn't.

SF is the type of guy that could be getting a blow job from Megan Fox, and all he'd do is complain about her messed up thumb.
