If Harper had bunted to advance the runners, the score would be tied now.  This team has no idea what smart baseball is.

Leaving the bases loaded the last inning had no impact on their decision making.

+1. A run counts even if you haven't hit one off the wall.

Absolutely disgusting. All of these baserunners and nothing.

This is the team we have next year. The last month has been a big fluke.

Davey should have kept his word when he said he would go if they fired Eckstein.

Charlie and Dave say that RZim's arm is back, based on his last play. Can't see this game...are they right?

Yup. That's one of the best parts about this season being over in a week. No more freaking Davey Johnson. :phew:

Not all the way,but it was a standing throw from even with the bag straight overhand. Best overhand throw I've seen from him this year. No crow hop, very little arc. Not Rendon on-a-rope,but not bad.

The problem is that when the season begins they usually test more frequently.

With the strikeout of Yelich, Strasburg is the 3rd fastest pitcher (426.1 IP) to get 500 K behind Kerry Wood (404.2) and Mark Prior (421.2).

Great that Stras hit the milestone, and great that he did it in a small number of games, but that also shows that he has not pitched that many games for his age.

They refuse to bunt and move runners over. Content to fail again and again.

Complete fail on Span's part there, the two run RBI.
