*sigh* This is perhaps the most frustrating. We needed this to happen like 2 weeks earlier. 2 weeks and we'd be looking at a WC birth

Not all the way,but it was a standing throw from even with the bag straight overhand. Best overhand throw I've seen from him this year. No crow hop, very little arc. Not Rendon on-a-rope,but not bad.

it might have been the best play he's ever made (though it looked like we got a gift with the 'out' call at 1st.

FWIW, I carefully watched Zimmerman and Polanco today, they play the position almost identically in terms of where they position themselves.  I know a lot of folks say Zimmerman is staying very shallow but I didn't see it today.

He moved back weeks ago. I'm going to have to find the post article where he and Davey talked bout it.

I'm thinking 1 week would've been enough.

Just couldn't pull the trigger for a DH.

Don't get me wrong - not a fan policey thing. It's just that the folks at the park really had to want to be there and are going to be loud, regardless.

Hell, I just got home from the first game   ...   and I'm reelin'.     I'm trying to watch while gettin' ready for the Steelers.

Still a lot of football left tonight...but I can't think that you were ready for this...

34,824 fans here. Most of them are disguised as blue seats, or red seats in some cases.

Why did Clippard throw him a changeup when he couldn't catch up to the fastball??

They continue to let him beat them time and time again. Makes no sense whatsoever.

Stras ought to sue for non-support.
