Oh they are. And being so close to Dupont Circle, the gays make their way through as well. Pretty fun game to bring a brown bag, watch the people do their shame of walk home, and try to figure out if they're walking away from a woman or a dude.

I don't get why they don't reschedule this as a day/night split DH tomorrow. It's not like anybody is staying for this.

Would Strasburg really start tonight if it started around 11 PM or so? I can't imagine that.

Doubleheader on a travel day sucks but at this point it is going to be rough as is if they have to play tonight, get to bed by 3 and then back to the ballpark by 9-10.

I think, at this point, they should bump strasburg till tomorrow. Pitch Roark and back him up with Ross if the game gets stopped before the 5th. If it gets stopped after the 5th, go with Stammen. Push Strasburg to tomorrow and tell him, Gio, and Jordan they're going every 4 days and whatever their throw day is could potentially be done in a game as a relief appearance.

Not so crazy. It does not take care of Wednesday, but you go with a choice of Ross / Roark or Haren. How it would set up is Stras Sunday, Gio on 3 days rest on Monday, JZ on 3 days on Tuesday, then RRH Wednesday. Stras actually would get his 4 days rest this way on Friday, likewise Gio and JZ on Saturday and Sunday.

I got to think a late start greatly favours the team with something to play for. You got to think it is pretty tough to get motivated to play this late if you are not playing for anything anyway.
