While the dbacks should be pushovers I don't see the Nats running through the cards who still have things to play for, especially if the bucs do their job.

It just burned me up silly when everyone here in April, May and June were saying "it's a long season."

Like somehow those early game loses are forgiven as long as a team gets better later in the season.

It was a long season back then, but obviously they got their act together too late.  Nobody disputes that.

It's actually the opposite. It means you have to make up a lot of ground with fewer and fewer games remaining.
