Davey Johnson, there is just no excuse for that. How can you let him face Justin Upton???!!!!!

Justin Upton is 1/9 with 3 Ks lifetime vs Stammen who was warming in the pen.

Davey has no remembrance of past performances.  The same thing happens to Ohlendorf and Davey never prepares for it.

Really? For a non injury situation?
Pretty sure if the manager (or acting manager..) doesn't make the decision to change the pitcher, he gets as much time as he needs.

83 mph slider. Middle-middle. Way gone. Yet again, Ohlendorf has issues once he gets to the 60-75 pitch mark.

Ohlendorf has the done the same thing every time. Here we are with 2 weeks left in the season and Davey still doesn't know it. He's oblivious to what's going on. How can you let a gassed pitcher face a guy who has dominated us in this park time and time again with the game on the line?

Id like to make a decision to warm up an acting manager.

Thanks though.

I've always respected Davey Johnson.   However, it's time to go.

I'm (quite obviously) out of the loop over here, has any journalist asked DJ in the past why he leaves Ohlendorf in so long? Or any pitcher for that manner, because he's got previous? Seems like a question that's too obvious.

Fully stocked bullpen and Davey leaves him in. Makes no freaking sense at all.

And now we know this story. The offense will go silent the rest of the night.

O.k.  I think whining about umpires is weak, but C.B. Bucknor is a douchebag.

He warned the pitcher.

And then he warned the Nats. So they hit us unintentionally, we'll pay the price if we hit them unintentionally.

that's absurd FP.  That's the perfect time to hit a player with a pinch hitter coming up and they're leading and your team is full of SOBs.
