Read Boz's article today.
Span has directly attributed his improvement to Schu's concentration on the basics of hitting.

Wow, well that answers that.  Thanks!

They wore pink Hello Kitty backpacks pre-game on, I think, Tuesday. Maybe it was Wednesday. Brief appearance on the pregame show.

I don't know that you can attribute it all to Schu, but a"stop thinking fellas. Find a pitch you can hit and do so" approach would definitely loosen up a tight team.

Span started hitting back in early June.
